Former President and United National Party (UNP) Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe is set to make a special statement today (August 10).

He is expected to address the ongoing crisis involving youth councils and associations.

As the founder of the National Youth Services Council, Wickremesinghe is also likely to reflect on the council’s original objectives and share his perspective on how it and other youth-related programs were managed during his tenure in office.
