Laththuwahandi Sujeewa Ruwan Kumara de Silva, alias “Loku Pati”, a key suspect in the Club Wasantha murder and a notorious organized criminal, has been brought back to Sri Lanka from Belarus via Dubai this morning (May 4) at around 7:43 AM. He was arrested in Belarus and handed over to Sri Lankan authorities by the CID.

Loku Pati faces multiple charges, including murder, heroin trafficking, and possession of explosives and firearms. Several cases are ongoing against him in the Kalutara, Kesbewa, and Mathugama courts. He is also suspected of coordinating several murders and shootings from overseas, including incidents in Ahungalla, Ambalangoda, and Athurugiriya between 2022 and 2024.
